Telehealth

“Nourishing myself is a joyful experience; I am worth the time spent on my healing.”

~Louise Hay

Some circumstances make office visits to the therapist difficult.

There are lots of reasons why coming to an office to see your therapist may not work for you.

Let’s take traffic. You may not want to have to get in your car and deal with red lights, traffic jams, and road construction. It may be time-consuming and stressful.

Busy schedules can get in the way. Your to-do list may be crammed with unfinished items, items from yesterday showing up once again on today’s list, and possibly will get carried over to tomorrow.

Or you could take a break and do therapy on your lunch hour, but not when you factor in time to get to and from the office.

Medical issues certainly get in the way. You may have a chronic issue, debilitating pain, or be recovering from an illness.

Maybe you can’t drive, and public transportation is way too difficult.

Confidential therapy online is now available for you!

Telehealth, sometimes referred to as online therapy, uses technology to provide mental health services from a distance.

It is increasingly recognized as a wonderful option, because it is so convenient for those unable to attend in-person sessions. Therefore, telehealth makes therapy available for everyone.

The format is confidential and easy to navigate.

I use a private, confidential platform that is easy to use and doesn’t require any sophisticated IT expertise.

Sessions are scheduled just like in-person sessions. You will receive an email with a link to our online session.

You don’t even need to download any special software. All you need is a good Wi-fi connection and a smart phone, tablet, laptop, or computer.

Don’t let a commute, scheduling, or medical issues stand in the way of getting help.

Our online sessions are like in-person ones, so it’s a good idea to find a quiet, private place to spend the hour we are in session.

I also can schedule phone sessions if you are unable to get a good Wi-fi connection or prefer to talk on the phone.

If you live in the state of Illinois, I can schedule psychotherapy sessions with you online the same way you would schedule an in-office visit. Case consultation is available in person and by telehealth regardless of the state in which you live.
