Where are you located?
My office is directly west of the Edens Expressway off Old Orchard Road.
It’s on the south side of the street in a one-story office building called the Old Orchard Office Court.
There is no central lobby, and my suite is on the west side of the building.
5225 Old Orchard Road, Suite #3 Skokie, IL 60077
Is there parking?
What do you charge?
We can talk about specific charges when we meet.
I accept cash, checks, credit cards, including HSA cards, and Chase quick pay/Zelle.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in network for Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO.
If you have other insurance, I will give you a receipt (called a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
It is always a good idea to first call your insurance company and find out what types of benefits they provide for mental health services, including out-of-network benefits if your insurance is other than a Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
This fee is waived in the event of a serious or contagious illness or inclement weather.
How do I set up an initial session?
Feel free to email me at smason36@gmail.com or call me at (847) 287-9267. If you need to leave a message, I will get back to you quickly.
I provide a free 15-minute phone consultation. If we feel that we’re a good fit, we can set up our first session.
Do you have initial paperwork?
Yes. I use a confidential HIPPA-compliant online platform called Simple Practice.
Once we’ve arranged your initial session, I will send you an email inviting you to fill out your personal information (name, address, etc.), review and sign my practice policies, and provide insurance details if applicable.
How long are your sessions?
What are your hours?
Do you do remote sessions?
What can you tell me about yourself that you might not share in sessions?
I daydream about living in a warm climate (Chicago winters do that to ya).
I am in love with my cashmere sweaters (see Chicago winters above), music calms my soul, and moving/dancing/yoga always make me happy.
